You built it. Now find the investors who back products like it

touchbase lists real investment firms and reads each one’s own website for the stages, sectors, cheque size and companies it names. You choose what they should back and at what stage, and write to the ones that fit.

What it does

  • Lists real investment firms, not named people
  • Reads each firm’s own website for the stages, sectors, cheque size and companies it names
  • Narrows the list by what they should back and by stage, from pre-seed to growth
  • Writes a short email to each, using the firm’s focus and the stage, traction and raise you entered
  • Links your pitch deck in the email
  • Holds every email for your approval before it is sent from your own mailbox

How it works

  1. 01

    Enter your numbers

Your stage, traction and the amount you are raising, once, in Settings.

  2. 02

    Search by what they back

Say what the firm should invest in and at what stage. Only firms whose own text points at it are kept.

  3. 03

    Approve each email

Each one is short and about that firm. Nothing is sent until you have read it.

Who it is for

Founders about to raise a first round who have a product and no list of investors to write to.

Questions

Does touchbase introduce me to investors?
No. It finds firms and writes the email, and you send it. Whether a firm replies is up to the firm.
Where does the list of firms come from?
From Wikidata. Each firm’s own website is then read for what it says it invests in.
Will the email make up my traction?
No. It uses only the numbers you entered, and it states nothing about the firm that the firm’s own site did not say.
Which plans include it?
Every paid plan includes investor search. The free plan does not, but it does include the pitch deck.
